In 2003 the Opus group bought the IPR to RM6000, the EPoS software it was reselling for 15 years from Sandmar and incorporated Sandmar as one of the Opus group of companies. Flesk IT are fully versed on all facets of the system and will provide a quality retail solution. The service will include software, hardware, training, installation and configuration aimed at enhancing and developing end user sites. Flesk IT customers will have the opportunity to deploy a computerised business solution, which provides the vital information regarding, stock control, sales analysis and profit margins. They will source their hardware from local distributor PC Cubed.
The key to the success of this partnership will lie with Opus’s long-term investment in R&D and training, plus the existing relationships formed by Flesk IT in the Munster region. The partnership will aim to help clients build a better and more effective business process to include an increase in revenues and reduction in costs.
The solution is designed for retail & wholesale businesses engaged in selling goods and services and also managing inventory. The system works as an integrated Point of Sale, back office and head office retail management system. These activities may be concentrated within a single business location, or spread across a number of remote business operations, including warehouses, retail outlets and administrative centres.
Main functions of the software include selling products via the world wide web, inventory management within single or multiple retail outlets, merchandising goods including product range planning, budgeting and revenue forecasting. Modules are also available for integrated chip and pin solutions, database and finance manager and advanced shipment costing system for importing goods from international suppliers.
“The partnership with Opus will allow our company to offer a full EPoS solution to our clients. It will also open up new markets for Flesk IT throughout 2008” Bill Garrett, Managing Director, Flesk IT
